HSN | $100 Off Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer for Black Friday ~ $329 with FREE Shipping

Disclosure Statement

This is a sponsored post on behalf of HSN. All opinions and hair ignorance are my own.

If you have been hunting for a deal on the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer, there is a great Black Friday option for you: HSN has the Dyson Dryer on sale for $329, reg. $429.99.

Now I know $329 is a LOT to spend on a hair dryer. (Heck, sometimes I think $32 is a lot to spend on a hair dryer). If you’re a low maintenance girlie, who throws your hair in a pony tail straight out of the shower, you can skip this post.

But if you regularly spend 20 minutes or more blow drying your hair and another 15 minutes straightening or curling it — minimum — then from a strict “money is time” perspective, the Dyson has a ton to offer.

HSN graciously sent me a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer to try out for this post and I must say, as more of the aforementioned low maintenance girlie, I was VERY impressed.

The unboxing experience is super elevated. It honestly feels like opening a new iPhone. Or Macbook. Very elegant, minimalistic and clearly very high tech.

I love that the attachments are magnetic – you can put them and take them off one-handed! And I really love how quiet (while also being insanely powerful) this hair dryer is. I’ve got some funny sensory issues with noises and the sound of this doesn’t stress me out at all.

As for how this actually works, let me start by saying that I have a LOT of hair. It’s very thick, very course and runs very frizzy. My hair dressers have all told me that I have the most hair they’ve ever cut. It takes for.ever. to dry. If I wash it at night and go to sleep with it wet in a braid, it’ll still be wet in the morning. (Not damp. Wet.)

The Dyson hair dryer can dry my hair to damp dry in less than 5 minutes. Bone dry in 10.

And somehow it doesn’t swell it to the size of a football helmet, as often happens when I blow dry my hair. In fact, my hair looks…well… normal.

When I used the diffuser, my natural waves turning into body-licious curls.

I took this picture after less than 5 minutes of blow drying to send my to daughter. I had put ZERO product in my hair, although said teenager says that I need a hair oil. And maybe some leave-in conditioner. (Why is it that my 15 year old knows more about doing hair than her middle aged mother? Perhaps that’s for another post, lol!)

When I tried the fly away tool, I had tamed hair. Not like I had straightened it for half an hour-tamed, but definitely like I could be seen in public.

The only downside I have found to this Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer is that it is not 110/220, so I can not take this miracle-maker back to Israel with with me. I’m trying to figure out right now if I can use a transformer with it. I like it that much. If not, then one of you lucky readers may be winning a basically brand new Dyson. Stay tuned…

In the meantime, you can head over to HSN to get one for yourself at their Black Friday special price of $329. Shipping is free, too, of course.
