The brain child of the amazing Risa Borsykowsky, owner of Jewish Gift Place, Extraordinary Jewish Women features one-on-one interviews with 21 Jewish women — all leaders and innovators in their fields, from publishing to rabbinics to community organizing and beyond.
I was so honored and humbled to have been asked to join this series.
In her one-on-one interviews, Risa goes deep to explore how these Jewish women followed their hearts into a vocation that they are passionate about, while staying grounded, giving back and helping others.
In my interview (can you tell I was so nervous??), I share the inside story about my blogging career, where it all started, and how being Jewish has impacted and informed everything I’ve done personally and professionally. I even share a little mussar. (A very little, but still!)
While all 21 women have their own unique mission and journey, we also share a number of common values, including:
- Living a purpose-filled life of gratitude and love
- Aligning our Jewish values and making a difference in the world
- Being inspired to face our fears and do what we are passionate about
