They say 40 is the new 30.
But I’m not sure I’m buying it. My skin at 30 required a whole lot less maintenance than it does today. So “new” or not, it’s become clear to me that some investment in my skin is going to be necessary from here on out.
Which is why I practically jumped at the chance to try out Bioque’s Serum XL – the so-called “Serum to the Stars”.
Most anti-aging serums I’ve tried have felt great when I first put them on — but once they dry a few minutes later, I honestly don’t see much change.
According to Bioque, their multi-peptide formula serves as a natural muscle relaxant, building up in facial muscles over time. The longer you use it, the more tension you lose.
I’ve been using Serum XL for about month and am definitely noticing that my skin is tighter and brighter.
My frown line (gosh, my mom was right all those years ago about not squinting – it really did leave a line!) is not much changed, but the tiny lines around my eyes are definitely smoother.
The biggest difference, honestly, is the back of my hands. After applying to my face and neck, I rub whatever Serum XL is left over onto the backs of my hands. They’ve been drinking it up and look a lot less, uh, old.

I love Garnier Fructis volume extend instant bodifier dry shampoo! I have fine hair that can’t hold anything I do to it, so I just spray a little at the roots and tease it a little before I do a style. It also works great for hair the day after I shower <3 I can't shampoo everyday because my hair can't handle it..this stuff is amazing! It gives my hair so much body and leaves it soft.
