One of my favorite summer freebies is FREE bowling. We have done this for the past four summers as it’s a great family-friendly activity.
The program we usually participate in is the AMF FREE Summer Bowling Program — and they’ve just opened up registration for the summer of 2013.
Your children up to age 15 can bowl for FREE as many as two games per day. Additionally, you can choose to pay just $34.95 for the AMF Summer Plus, which will get you two free games per day for up to four people ages 15 and older. (We do this so my husband or I — or our parents — can bowl with the children as well.)
Note that none of the Kids Bowl Free program covers bowling shoe rental. As I’ve said before, we bought cheap pairs for the kids and found that it more than paid for itself over the summer.
