With the specs on this, I’d call it more of an entry-level MacBook (based on the 4GB and 500GB hard drive). I have had this same laptop for three years now — and it’s been serving me (and the blog!) very well. I do use an external hard-drive for regular backups (learned that lesson the heard way). And I’m trying to rely on the cloud (I use Dropbox) more and more – to keep heavy files out of my memory.
