And here’s a little menu planning tip from me for FREE: My favorite (and the world’s easiest) Shabbat appetizer is hummus topped with ground beef, served with pita chips and crudite. I usually flavor my beef with zhatar, but you could honestly use anything – cumin, ground coriander, paprika, just salt & pepper. Everyone always loves it. For three families, a pound of ground beef is plenty – and a big bag of pita chips!
