Mabel’s Labels (remember them? I gush about their awesome labels all the time) has created a great new label that combines geeky technology with Type A organization. (Two things I aspire to be!)
Can’t remember where you put your baby’s size 6-12 month clothes? Not certain where your Passover dishes are stores? What about those photo albums from the 1990s?
With the new Scan & Store labels from Mabel’s Labels, you will can not only organize and store – but keep track all your schtuff.
Here’s how they work:
1. Fill up a bin, tote or other container and apply a Scan & Store Label
2. Scan the QR code on the left side of the label with the Write Away! app. (Compatible only with iPhones 3GS or newer right now.)
3. Input the title, location, description and a photograph of the container.
4. From your smartphone, you can store the names and photographs of an unlimited number of items; assign them to a container; search for containers; and more.
We’ve moved to using the Scan & Store Labels on all of our garage storage. Since we use the mega gallon tubs out there, and they often are stacked two and three deep, I was getting majorly frustrated by my inability to quickly put my hands on something.
Now with Scan & Store, I not only know exactly what’s in which tub… but also WHERE that tub is. Precisely. (Left side, second row, against the wall.)
I’m thinking these might also be awesome for all those bankers boxes of financial records we keep stored in various closets throughout the house. Can’t remember where 2008 is? No problem. Just check the app!
Even more exciting than being uber-geeky label organized, though, is being able to get FREE SHIPPING on said labels.
Yes, thru the end of this month, whether you order the new Scan & Store labels, or any other product at Mabel’s Labels, you’ll score FREE shipping to the United States or Canada!
Like the Ultimate Back to School Combo? (Which is $3 off right now.) Yup, those ship free, too!

Disclosure: I was provided with a starter set of Scan & Store labels to facilitate my review. I was not required to write about my experience with them, nor to share only positive impressions. I’m disclosing this because it’s the law, but also because I want you to know. In addition, this post contains affiliate links, which as you know is one way that I keep this blog running.
