Most of the office supply stores have ended – or at least slowed – their school supply sales. With many schools back in session, now is actually a good time to look for clearance deals.
Based on the circulars around me, though, there are a few more sales of note this week. Here are the prices that I think stand out:
Office Depot
Brother P-Touch Portable Labeler – $9.99, regularly $34.99
Office Max
Sharpie Singles – $.25 each, limit 3
OfficeMax Clear Zippered Binder Pocket – $.25 each, limit 3
Just Basics Pink Erasers, 5-Pack – $.25 each, limit 3
Schoolio Colored Pencils, 12-pack – $.25 each, limit 3
Staples
Staples Hype yellow-grip highlighers, 6-pack – $1.00
Staples pencil box – $1.00
Staples push pins, binder clips and paper clips – $1.00 per package
Staples 5.5″ x 8.5″ dry erase board with marker – $1.00
Staples Glue Sticks, .26-oz, 4-pack – $1.00
Toys ‘R Us
Crayola Crayons, 24-box – $.25 , while supplies last
Did you see any great school supply deals that I missed? Please let me know in the comments section!
I started stocking up on all the cheap school supplies as soon as the sales fliers were mentioning them. Then the week before our tax-free weekend, I got the remaining items that my son needed. Now I just go in each week to get those few really cheap items like above that I will save for next year. I am a teacher so at OfficeMax they even let me buy above the limit. I stocked up on folders at a penny each for my classroom!
