In addition to the refund you can get right now on Kashi, which I mentioned yesterday, my friend Susie from Daily Cheapskate (do you follow her blog? You should!) told me about a few other refunds you may be eligible for.
If you purchased select 5 oz cans of Starkist Tuna from 2/19/09 – 10/31/14, you can receive either a $25 refund check, or $50 worth of free product coupons. This class action settlement was due to Starkest underfilling the 5 oz cans. You have until 11/20/15 to file your claim, and your refund should arrive sometime after 12/17/15. You do not need proof of purchase.
There is also a class action lawsuit over Tom’s of Maine labeling items as “natural” when they may not have been. If you purchased at least one Tom’s of Maine Covered product from 3/25/09 – 9/23/15, you are entitled to participate in this settlement and may be eligible to receive a refund. The final verdict will not be reached until 1/28/16. You’ll need to file your claim by 5/7/16, so you do have a bit of time on this one.
