Thanks, Surviving the Stores!

  1. I tried to get the B&N coupon, which expires tonight for store and tomorrow online, and it told me I needed to update my browser. When I checked, I have the latest version, so it basically took my information and didn’t give me a coupon.

  2. Miriam in savannah says

i had the same prob — did u do anything about it?

  3. I am calling customer service – 1-800-843-2665.

  4. Just wanted to let you know that the Barnes & Noble coupon was kind of a bust. I did call customer service, and they were not very nice, telling me it was my fault I couldn’t access the coupon. I ended up emailing B&N via the Facebook app, and I got an answer with a coupon code that was supposed to be for 50% off. The catch is that the coupon is for that amount off the list price. Since almost nothing sells for list, the coupon brings the original discount up to 50%, which means for the book I wanted, the percentage off was really 27%. That’s still okay, but at this point, the coupon was more trouble than it was worth.
