Seeking My Frugal Simcha Contributors

My Frugal SimchaHave you recently hosted a simcha on a budget? Whether it was a penny-pinched Bar Mitzvah, a wedding paid in cash, or even a brit milah or simchat bat that didn’t break the bank, I’d love to hear about it.

And so would KOAB readers!

I’m seeking new contributors to this wonderful series of reader-submitted stories called My Frugal Simchas. The 15 stories shared by KOAB readers thus far are packed with inspiration and instruction on how to save money, yet not skimp on meaning, at your next simcha.

Of course, with my own son’s Bar Mitzvah looming on the calendar (July 2016!), I will be paying special attention to every money-saving kernel shared. Yes, I admit, I do have selfish intentions in reviving this series, but I also hear from readers every week who are hungry for more information on how to reduce costs for their important life cycle events.

So eager am I to share your stories that I will offer a $15 Amazon Gift Card to any reader who’s submission is selected for this series.

What does a My Frugal Simcha contributor have to do?

My Frugal Simcha contributors provide a written account of their frugal simcha — where they choose to save money, and how they did it. The focus can be on the overall event, or on specific details that were especially frugal – or both!

Contributors must also be able to provide at least one high resolution image to accompany their story as well. Check out past My Frugal Simcha posts for examples.

If you are interested in being featured in the My Frugal Simcha series, please complete the form below. I will be in touch with you right away to schedule your post. I look forward to hearing from you!
