Groupon. Living Social. Save More. Plum District. Rue La La. The list of deal-a-day sites goes on and on. They are the hottest thing right now in the deal world. So, it should come as no surprise that this deal niche has gotten even niche-er with the proliferation of Jewish / kosher deal a day sites.
One of my favorites is Kosher Kouponz. They currently target local deals to New Jersey, NYC & the Bronx, Queens & the 5 Towns, and Los Angeles, but they also have a number of national deals for us “out-of-towners”. (Not for nothing, but I totally bristle at that moniker.)
For example, you might remember this deal at Judaica Seeds (we got a new kiddush cup from that one) or this one for AviGlatt. They’ve even got the occasional deal in Israel!
Regardless of where you live, today’s giveaway will allow one lucky winner to take advantage of some seriously stellar deals at Kosher Kouponz – because you will get $50 in Kosher Kouponz credits.
Are you ready to get great deals for FREE? I thought so!
Today there are SIX ways you can enter this giveaway. The first one is MANDATORY — just leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite deal you’ve scored from any deal-a-day site. Never bought through one before? That’s okay – just tell me that in your comment.
The other five entries are optional. You can do one, two or all five. The more ways you enter, the better your chances of winning! Simply follow the instructions on this cool new giveaway tool called Rafflecopter (it’s all the rage in the blogosphere, so I’m pumped to give it a whirl.)
- Like KOAB on Facebook – if you’re already a fan, just check that box
- “Like” this post to share it on your Facebbok wall
- Follow KOAB on Twitter

- Tweet about this giveaway on Twitter – it’s already set up with the text for you.
Completing all six entries shouldn’t take you more than 60 seconds. And if you win the $50, I’d say that’s a mighty fine ROI! 😉
Each day this week, I am hosting one (and in some cases two) Rosh Hashana giveaways. The giveaways will be open until next Tuesday, September 20 at 11:59 CST. You can complete the entries for each giveaway one time only. The winners of all the giveaways will be announced next Wednesday.
Disclaimer: Kosher Kouponz will provide the winner with a $50 credit that never expires. The winner must be a registered member of Kosher Kouponz to receive their credit. You can sign up for Kosher Kouponz here. I am an affiliate of Kosher Kouponz, which means I get a (very small) commission if you purchase a deal that I promote on my blog. I was not compensated to run this giveaway. All glowing opinions of Kosher Kouponz’s out-of-towner deals are my own.
My only purchase so far from a deal-a-day site was for movie rentals from Redbox – for my parents. Thanks for all the deals here too 🙂
Our local Kosher restaurant, Rubin’s, did a $8 for $16 CoupMe a while back. Eating out is such a special treat with a baby – so this was really nice.
I’m a deal-a-day addict! My favorite was the free water bottle on Eversave- especially since I made $80 in credit for my referrals. It’s not hard to convince someone to “buy” something that’s free 🙂
Sorry, I meant Savemore. Not Eversave. See, I can’t even keep them all straight!
I liked the ones for Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
The $10 for $20 worth of groceries at Whole Foods
I luv the b/o/g/o free dinners at any site. My favorite was a free $40 dinner don’t remember which site it was from.
a cute scooter for my son!
Any movie ticket one is usually a great buy!!also did the abigaels one a few months ago
My favorite deal-a-day deal was the five rental codes from Blockbuster Express. Which reminds me, I need to finish using them. Guess I’m having a mini-film fest this weekend. 🙂
Have not done one yet — didn’t even know there were Jewish ones!
My favorite deal – I bought six laser hair removal treatments for my underarms, for about $175 or something. It’s been awesome.
Target freebies are my new favorite thing! Saved $16.00 today on my shopping trip and got two things for free!
Never used this deal site but I love the groupons for things to do with my kids like pump it up, mini-golf, etc.
I liked the hunkys deal last week
Cheap movie tickets – just waiting for the Groupon for half-off babysitting so we can actually use them!
I bought a cooling pad for my laptop.
I’ve used a few for kosher food.
We had a problem with a vendor for a LivingSocial deal, and LivingSocial did a *great* job standing behind it – even refunding our money (which is more than we asked for). So that’s my favorite so far.
No real good deals. Mostly CVS gifts cards
We got an awesome deal on Delaware River tubing for the family from either Groupon or Eversave (I can’t remember!) – less than half price, and the kids absolutely loved the family day.
I loved yesterday’s $10/20 to Whole Foods from Living Social!
Oh, lots. Love my Dali Decals groupon. Plus I bought my favorite pair of shoes ever from a groupon to a local shoe store.
Kosher restaurants in los Angeles, and of course the nordstrom gift card from groupon
My favorite deal, so far, was when my husband purchased a family membership for an incredible science museum in Chicago for our family and we got to visit more than we have in years.

I scored a 2 for 1 discount on my favorite pizza place near work.
Free ear buds that actually stay in my ears from 1 Sale a Day
Crocs from zulily
The best and only deal that I’ve done was the asimon card from kosher kuponz. It cost me 10 dollars for a 20 dollar card and because i was a first time customer at asimon they gave me an extra 10 percent so i got a 22 dollar phone card for 10 dollars. i use it all of the time. It lasts for months even calling to a cell phone.
i love the seriously surprising deals on wednesdays from jdeal. sure, i’ve never won, but because I get referral credits each week, I have gotten a Jamie Geller cookbook for free (just paid $2.95 for shipping!) and I am sitting with a bunch of credit in my account. Just waiting for the right deal to cash in…
Spa! I never scored one since by the time I am able to sit on my computer it is usually gone already…but love good spa deals 🙂
By far was an annual family membership to the zoo! Our local zoo is expensive and we’ve been able to go many times. The kids love it!

My fav deal was the JDeal for Quick and Kosher: Meals in Minutes…. =)
My favorite was discounted Fandango tickets.

My favorite deal was getting a $20 punch card for 20 classes at an all women’s gym in Brookline, MA, from Trubates.com. For a dollar a class, I am happy to exercise anytime!
