Through July 20th, Walgreens is helping us save on back to school shopping with a Buy One, Get One 50% Off Writing Utensils sale — good both in-store and online.
The sale includes these Zebra Z-Grip pens. Plus there’s an Ibotta rebate, which will really stack up your savings.
Here’s what your transaction should look like:
Buy (2) Zebra Z Grip Ballpoint Pen 5-Count Packs — $2.99 each
Buy one, get one 50% off (save $1.50)
Get $1.50 cash back via Ibotta for each pack ($2)
= Final cost is $1.49 total, like paying just 74¢ per pack
Note: If you shop online, be sure to select free store pickup to bypass shipping charges and to get an e-commerce receipt, which you can scan for your Ibotta rebate.
(New to Ibotta? Read this post which explains my new favorite money-saving app.)
Thanks, Hip2Save!
I didn’t take advantage of this deal, but I came here to make a general comment about shopping at Walgreens. Two times in the past month when I googled items I needed to buy, the cheapest place was Walgreens. My usual store did not have the items in stock, so I had it shipped to my store from another local store. There is no charge for this service. It’s very efficient; the pickup is easy. When Walgreens sent me the email to tell me to pickup, both times they included a coupon for 25% off anything in the store (that’s not on sale). It’s a very good deal. I stocked up on shampoo, generic tylenol, etc. The only disadvantage is it takes a few days for the item to ship from store to store.
